Taliban Retaliation On IS Targets!

The Taliban said on Monday that its fighters raided an Islamic State hideout in the Afghan capital. During this, many rebels were killed. It is being seen as a retaliation against Sunday's bomb blast outside the Idgah mosque, in which five people were killed. Although no one took responsibility for this attack, but the needle of suspicion went to the Islamic State itself.Let us tell you that since the capture of Kabul on August 15, Islamic State has intensified attacks against its enemy Taliban.

Taliban officials gathered at the mosque to mourn the death of the mother of Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid when the blasts took place on Sunday. The Mujahid said in a statement on Monday that Taliban forces raided an Islamic State operation center in the Khair Khana neighborhood in northern Kabul. It did not say how many IS insurgents were killed or whether any Taliban were injured in the operation.

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a suicide attack outside Kabul airport on August 26, which killed more than 169 Afghans and 13 US forces. Earlier this year, Islamic State was blamed for the brutal attack on a school in Dasht-e-Barchi, Afghanistan. More than 80 students were killed in this attack.

Sunday's bombing underscores the growing challenges for the Taliban. The group launched frequent attacks during its 20-year insurgency, but now faces attempts to deter rival militants who have used similar methods. They are doing this during a national economic downturn.
